Delicious, Delightful Pitch Language 102: Reach Your Ideal Reader

Back by popular demand! The Pitch Language series is back. Both 101 and 102 can be purchased together as a discount.

In 102, we’ll dream big with powerfully positive language tailored to your ideal reader. We’ll get into the nitty gritty of a three-paragraph pitch by joyfully experimenting with book jacket copy and book reviews, plus all your fab ideas from Pitch Language 101. You’ll leave this class with a strong summary of your project plus the confidence to pitch your work with pride.

I love that the activities got me thinking about the book from a totally different angle. Instead of trying to break down the locked front door, I shimmied through an open window. It was exhilarating, and it renewed my excitement for the work.

~Pitch Series Grad

As with 101, our tried-and-true method remains the same, but we’ve got some new + fun ideas to try, inspired by endless pitching (with great rewards!).

We will meet virtually on Tuesday, April 7, 7:00-9:00 PM CST*.

If you can’t make it in real time, please consider the recording-only version of the class.

Megan Clark is a romance writer and voracious romance reader who gets far too big of a thrill from writing a fantastic pitch. She’s been a content marketer and a journalist, but she’s happiest when she’s plotting how to torture her own characters. She’s a hiker, knitter, and, above all, believer in writing as a hopeful act. She’s represented by Deidre Knight at The Knight Agency.

We’ll meet via Zoom*. Once you’re registered, you’ll receive a link and all the info you need to attend.

*Pitch 102 is capped at 20 registrants and is nonrefundable.

Cancellation policy: Pitch 102 requires five registered writers to move forward. If the class is in danger not going forward, we will notify registrants as soon as possible.
