The Ending is the Beginning // June 14
The Ending is the Beginning // June 14
Saturday, June 14 / 10:00-12:00 PM CST* / Virtual Space via Zoom
How can an ending be a homecoming? The answer to a long-awaited question? The breaking of a spell or the casting of one?
My recent revision experiments in the final phase of my novel got me thinking about ways to approach the exit. When we reach the conclusion of a story, we circle back to why we told the story in the first place. Whether you’re dreaming of your story’s conclusion, drafting it, or revising the final pages, this class is for you.
And if you joined me for the Magic & Hope in the Nines series, you should know this class has a real nines-kind-of-energy. ;)
Early bird pricing ends May 30 for both versions.
In this two-hour class we will:
Engage in experimental writing around endings
Take inspiration from literary examples
Discuss our findings and share ideas/resources
Come home to your story’s core themes and questions
Gain confidence in the overall structure of your story
The Ending is the Beginning is nonrefundable. The class is limited to 18 registrants.
Cancellation Policy: All classes require at least five registered writers to move forward. If the class is in danger of not happening, I will inform you as early as possible.
