The Reinvention of Autumn
Back by popular demand, this next edition of Creative Commitment is rooted in the rich themes of my favorite season—autumn. It’s a time of reinvention and release, of exploring the mystical pathways that emerge when we take time to go inward and dream, when the empty branches expose a forest’s secrets, when the paths are clear, cool, and enlivening.

What do you want to create this fall? Are you finishing a novel draft? Or starting something brand new?
This three-month offering will give you the structure you need to create with the energy and fun of fellow writers. It’s an opportunity to make major moves before the close of the year, but with nourishment and support. And, of course, there will be snail mail surprises and lots of magic.

This three-month, intention-oriented offering includes:
3 Saturday morning virtual gatherings* from 10am-12:30pm CST for studying craft, sharing intentions**, and getting work done. *All gatherings will be recorded and available for one week following the scheduled session. **SCC is capped at fifteen writers.
30 minute consultation with me prior to our first gathering to discuss personal goals and desires. An opportunity to declare: This is where I want to be in three months.
30 minute follow-up to discuss where you are and what you need to keep the energy going.
Two 1.5 hour Studio Sessions for working in community with optional guided writing.
Special snail mail prior to our first gathering to give you sweet inspiration for the months to come.
Option to sign up for a majorly discounted manuscript reads.
Curated playlist for spring work + other fun bonus-tools along the way.
Delightful post-FCC meetups to keep the energy alive (see schedule below).

Cancellation/Refund Policy: All classes require at least five registered writers to move forward. If the Fall Creative Commitment is in danger of not happening, I will inform you as early as possible.
